Composed of 27 instrumentals, "Soft Focus" is a real feel good album. The sampling work by Vanilla is incredible. Let me explain what I mean. These tracks aren't over-complicated with too much reworking of the original. He masterfully crafts a new sound while maintaining the integrity of the piece. I can definitely say that my experience while listening to these tracks is one of reminiscing. Particularly good memories. Silly things, random things. Number 5 "Still Love U" and the last 27 "People Person" are my two favorites right now. Honestly, I love them all so that'll rotate :)

Carmine "Four Dot Six"

"Four Dot Six" is truly another creation from Carmine and his team. If you haven't listened to his previous work, I suggest you do so here. The production is clean, crisp and simplistic. Your head has to bob up & down to this one and personally I find it a little hard not to. It's nice when you come across something that leaves you satisfied yet wanting more at the same time. From 4.6, lets keep counting!
